It has been a wet December on and off but here by the Pennines there has not been the predicted snow.  Is there every anything that comes to pass as predicted?  (I know there was a spot of snow up near Grassington a while back, but that was just a local event on high ground)

One example - I quote the Daily Express - Daily Express - 6 December 2019

UK snow forecast: Heavy snow to blanket UK till CHRISTMAS-storm unleashes -20C deep freeze

A MONSTER 70mph storm will smash the UK this weekend causing the Polar Vortex to swoop southwards unleashing ‘disruptive snowfall’ until Christmas.

Well it was wrong!

Darlington Borough Council hope to fine walkers £100 for exercising more than 4 canines at once!

Quote below from this link - LINK _ Kennel Club Dog Owners Group

The maximum number of dogs a person can walk in a controlled manner depends on a number of factors relating to the dog walker, the dogs being walked, whether leads are used, and the location where the walking is taking place. We note Defra guidance which cites expert advice that the maximum number of dogs someone can control is six.

Note the level of control here and no leads!
