H&CVB HOUND RACING AND BARBECUE EVENT

 On Saturday, 31st July 2021 the H&CVB held a barbecue and hound racing event.

An excellent barbecue with delicious sausages and burgers from Brindon Addy butchers at Hade Edge.

Awards taken by our hounds from The Great Yorkshire Show this year.

Hounds in the 'paddock' having their potential assessed for a bet on the winning collar colour.

A lot of pre-race nerves there.

The competing hounds were taken up into the depths of the wood and told to stay - which they did, until called.

OK, so it looks a bit tame on here but it was good fun for all.  Check the video at the end for the action!
