Last Sunday a large gathering attended the Colne
Valley Beagles and Holme Valley Beagles Puppy Show, by invitation of the Masters of the two packs, when last year’s litters
were judged. Part 2 shows some of those
who came for this popular event, some from other packs and many who maintained
the tradition that ‘Sunday Best wear’ is most appropriate, or the hunting equivalent of sartorial elegance,
for these events. As previously mentioned, although this was a
joint event, there were no HVB puppies on this occasion. There was an excellent free buffet provided by volunteers, which due the the numbers being above expectations, ran a bit thin on stock by the end.
As there are quite a lot of photos I have split them
into two groups – Page 1 being more hound related and Page 2 the of the general
atmosphere, which means mostly people.. As
I wrote in Part 1, I have had to do
these photos on my laptop and last time I did some on here I subsequently discovered
they were too dark on the web so I am not sure how good these are going to be. If later I find the same problem I will correct
them.
