A COLNE VALLEY BEAGLES day out.
With some of the characters.
A Master explaining the rules. |
So off we go! |
Nice stick. Nice Labs |
Nice clean hounds! |
The attire tells you what sort of weather we have! |
The sticks are really to lean on while standing about! |
Discoloured from the sloppy wet ground. |
You can see the standing water. |
Another dirty hound |
Looks like the drag man up there |
Shall we all go? |
Foot needs attention after a hard day
And time for a sit down |
I don't know how it has come about but I read that this winter has been 'the sunniest in almost a century'. I can only say the Met Office was not where I have been as most of my days out this winter have been in overcast gloom.
I think this area of Yorkshire is marked black on the map as <65% of 'average' to show the least sunshine. Taking photos with a decent shutter speed has been difficult for my old camera. These statements may be right based on some sort of average but are totally misleading.
Put another way - We had more sunshine almost a century ago - or - We have had less sunshine than nearly a century ago. Must have been better in those days then!
