A bit of ROCKWOOD HARRIERS and the OAKLEY FOOT BEAGLES

As an excuse for crap pics, on neither day did the weather lend itself to taking photos, with classic December Dull, yet some other days with nothing happening have been bright and cheerful.

The Rockwood Harriers were out on a day the Met Office forecast serious snow for our area starting late afternoon - Amber Warning and what not, but the bit they got right was some prior rain freezing to give sheet ice on the frozen ground later in the afternoon.  So it was cold and dull as it often seems to be on these occasions.

Last 'snap', then I left just before the rain started and so had to skate my way to my front door on a thin instant ice sheet.

The Oakley Foot left their comfort zone and trudged around the local moorland.  Gloom and showers.  Two of the five H&CVB followers provided a selection of tasty edibles but forgot to bring the liquid part.

A final glimpse for me then home.
